Exact part numbers first
Tolra indexes SKUs, barcodes, MPNs and part numbers in your product text. Dashes, spaces, dots and capitals are ignored, so px2280 01, PX.2280.01 and PX-2280-01 find the same product. Exact matches always rank first.
What Tolra does on your storefront and in your Shopify admin. Labels show which plans include each feature.
Tolra indexes SKUs, barcodes, MPNs and part numbers in your product text. Dashes, spaces, dots and capitals are ignored, so px2280 01, PX.2280.01 and PX-2280-01 find the same product. Exact matches always rank first.
When a search matches one variant's SKU, the result shows that variant's image, price and stock, and links straight to it.
Measurements are read as one value however they are written: 1/2", 1/2 inch and ½ in; 60 cm and 600 mm; 1,5 kW and 1.5kW; 20x47x14 mm; M8x1.25. Part numbers themselves are never rewritten.
Upload a CSV of old, OEM or equivalent numbers. A search for any of them finds your product, labelled "Replaces X" or "Matches X".
Growth and upTell Tolra that words mean the same thing, like "thread seal tape" and "PTFE tape", so shoppers find the product whichever word they use.
Pin chosen products to the top for a search, using Shopify's own product picker.
Tolra reads each product's text (title, description and product fields) and suggests filter values such as thread size, voltage or material, plus part numbers it finds. You approve or reject each one. Only approved values are used. New and changed products are read again; price and stock changes don't count.
Growth and upThe results page shows the filters that matter for what the shopper searched. A search for ball valves shows size, material and connection, not every filter in your store.
Approved values and part numbers can be written to two fields on your products that belong to Tolra. Your own product fields are never changed.
Growth and upChoose a list, compact or grid layout, your colors, and which sections show in the dropdown. The search code loads when a shopper first clicks into the search box.
Grid or list view with a part-number column, results per row and per page, sorting, filters on the side or on top, load more, and quick add to cart.
When a search finds nothing useful, shoppers can send you what they need. You see the requests on the Product requests page in Tolra and reply by email.
Free and upShoppers paste lines of "part number, quantity" and Tolra adds them all to the cart. If a code matches several products, Tolra lists them instead of guessing.
Pro onlyTolra searches the translations you already have in Shopify. Storefront text such as buttons and labels comes in 9 languages. On Growth and Pro, filter names and values are translated too.
See what shoppers search for and which searches find nothing. Fix a search in one click by adding a synonym, a rule or another part number.
A short weekly summary of your store's searches, with the ones worth fixing.
Free and upOn paid plans, if your catalog grows past the limit, search keeps working. Tolra shows a notice in the admin and suggests the plan that fits. On Free, a store over the limit gets 14 days with all products, then its own search takes over until it upgrades.
Tolra adds its search box and results page through Shopify's theme app extensions. It never edits your theme code. If Tolra can't answer, your theme's own search takes over.
Each store's products sit in a search index of their own. Stores are never combined, and no model is trained on your data.
Tolra doesn't store prices or stock. They are read from Shopify when shoppers search, so they are always current.
Tolra stores the words searched, not who searched. No IP addresses are stored. Search records are deleted after 90 days.
When you uninstall, your theme's search is back at once. Tolra keeps your store's data for 7 days in case you reinstall, then deletes everything it holds for your store.
